“When the world seems to shine like you've had too much wine, That's amore” - That's Amore by Dean Martin
The moment I decided to start my chocolate business, I made it a goal to make a chocolate that my 6-year-old daughter would enjoy. After coming across an Italian confection called Gianduja which blends hazelnut paste with chocolate, sounding very familiar to a well loved chocolate spread, I knew this was the one.
At first, she wasn't a fan, but with some tweaks to the recipe along with constant tasting for quality, she fell in love. So much so that she began asking to bring more than one piece to summer school to share her love of this sweet treat with her friends. It was then I knew that I had to name this, "That's Amore" - because when her eyes shine with pure excitement to share what brings her pleasure and joy with her friends, well, that’s amore.
On top of that, this Italian confection is also made with beans from Domori, an Italian chocolate company, making it 100% worthy of this title and song. Teetering slightly above 46%, this chocolate is going to be the sweetest of all the chocolates with a soft bite and velvety, creamy mouthfeel. To balance out the sweetness, notes of toasted hazelnut and aromatic cacao are carried throughout the bar, making the flavor consistent from bite to finish. On the nose, it's sweet and nutty, like a melted chocolate nut butter cup.
